The Volkswagen Amarok and Transporter have taken home awards from the What Van? 2024 Awards.
Celebrating the businesses, brands and organisations that have excelled in their respective industries, the What Van? 2024 Awards were selected by an experienced panel of judges from across the LCV sector.
The Amarok was crowned ‘Pick up of the Year’ due to its large cargo bay, and comfortable and spacious interior, as the judges were left impressed by its well-equipped, functional and sophisticated cabin.
Alongside this, the Transporter was named ‘Used Van of the Year’. This is largely thanks to its updated driver assist features, huge variety of features and options and its substantial load bay volumes.
James Dallas, Editor at What Van?, said: “With a wide range of models to choose from, the Volkswagen Amarok is comfortable, refined, great to drive and outstandingly capable both on- and off-road.”
And of the ‘Used Van of the Year’ award for Transporter, he added: “With strong engines, rock solid build quality and enduringly high residual values, the Transporter’s strengths reside in its core values, making it the best used van in its class.”
